Every so often a model comes along that has what it takes. We don’t know what it is exactly about this person that draws us in, but whatever it is, it keeps us captivated long enough to want to know more about this person. Jasmine has that star quality, the motivation, education and ambition to take any and every project she wants to do to the next level.

Hi Jasmine. Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to chat with me. Let’s start with the basics first Age, Location, Nationality and Measurements?

23 yrs old, Miami, I’m Colombian... and my measurements are 34-25-37

What’s your favorite thing about being a model?

Meeting people

How long have you been modeling and where do you want to go with it?

I been modeling since last year... eventually I would like my modeling career to take off so I can network and perhaps start my fashion styling career.

What types of modeling styles do you do and feel completely comfortable shooting?

I like shooting in swimwear because that it shoes off my body the best. I also feel very comfortable in boy shorts rather than thongs.

So I understand you have a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. What is that and how can that help with the modeling industry?

The fashion industry is part of modeling. Modeling gives you another point of view of the fashion world. To stand out as a model you have to be different and know how to dress and style yourself! Also you might be a role model to younger girls, so you want to let them know it’s not just about having a pretty face or nice body. Education is VERY important especially if you want people to take you seriously in this industry.

So basically you do fashion designs. That’s awesome. So that means you can be the next Coco Chanel or Vera Wang. That’s what’s up. What made you want to choose this particular field?

I can design and create the actual garment... But I’m more into the styling and visual merchandising aspect of fashion. When I was in high school I was in the year book for best dressed. I have always loved fashion and didn’t see myself spending the rest of my life doing something different than what I love

What makes you different than the other models trying to come up in the game right now?

Unlike other models i actually have a bachelor’s degree which is something to fall on. I’m also very responsible when it comes to work and I’m about my business.

To date, what has been your favorite overall shoot and why?

My favorite shoot was with my best friend Cassie Melinda on South Beach because we were just having fun with Marquest (the photographer) and I was very relaxed and comfortable it didn’t even feel like a shoot.

Besides modeling, what do you like to do for fun or excitement?

I love to travel and just simply spend time with my friends and loved ones.

Do you have any projects in the works now that we should keep an eye out for?

Yes but I don’t want to say them yet because it’s not for sure yet and I rather it be a surprise :)

What are some of the things you dislike about the modeling industry?

I dislike sneaky photographers that you can’t trust because you don’t know their real intentions

You have such an awesome look... What does it take to maintain your look, style and shape?

Aww thanks! I honestly don’t really do much to keep my look besides the regular like getting my hair and nails done.

Who are some of your influences in the modeling industry today?

I admire many models today can’t really name a few there’s a handful doing their thing out there!

What are some of the things you would like to achieve in the modeling industry before your done?

There’s no limit to what I want to achieve possibilities are endless

If you could change one thing about yourself or your life, what would it be and why?

I wouldn’t change a thing every day is a learning experience!
