Hi Karla How are you doing today? Hey, can’t complain.. feeling great!

Thats always a good thing. Thanks for taking the time to sit down with us. I know how busy your schedule is so I will try to not take up too much of your time. How did you get involved in modeling? Modeling, and being photographed has always appealed to me. Although, I got into the business not so long ago, the fact that I saw potential in myself after just a few test shoots led me to give it an actual try.

Thats whats up. So what are some of the types of shoots you have done and what would you say has been your favorite type of shoot to date? I’ve tried every style from glam, fashion, urban, swimwear, pin up, etc... I’ve enjoyed shooting in allthese different looks because it shows versatility, so choosing one is pretty difficult!

Lol. I can understand that. So who have you worked with in the game and what is the next move for Karla? I’ve done a variety of things in the field of modeling. For instance I’ve had the opportunity to shoot with some amazing photographers here in south florida for features, and magazines. I’ve worked with well known artists for their music videos, and I’ve hosted a lot of events in south beach, brickell, ft lauderdale you name it! As far as what’s next for me I would say keep a close eye out because you’ll be seeing a lot more of me soon ;-)

Thats pretty awesome giving your short time in the game... So lets get the basics out the way why don’t we lol.. tell us a little bit about yourself… I’m 19, I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. As of right now, I model full time and go to school. My nationality is half cuban and half italian. My favorite place definitely has to be anywhere that serves really good food ( I love to eat) LOL. I’m 5’6 , about 130, and my measurements are 34, 25, 39

What trait do you like most about yourself? I’ve always been told I’m a very genuine person because I say it how it is and don’t hold anything back. So I definitely like the fact that I’m straightforward. Now, if we’re talking about physical traits I must say my eyes are what I like most about myself

Who are some of your role models? My mom and my grandmother, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if it wasn’t for them! Celebrities, to name a few, I’d say Tyra Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, Joanna Krupa. I admire their success as individuals for having accomplished so much during the course of their careers.

What trait do you dislike most about yourself? I was a had a better notion of time, I’m always like “I’ll be there in 5!”, and I end up getting there half an hour later :/

So what would you say is your best physical feature? I always get told my eyes and my butt lol

Hmm... Well with that said, how do you keep in such great shape? I work out twice a week with my trainer and I drink a lot of water.. I guess that’s the trick.

Do you have any pets? If so what kind? Yes! I have 2 dogs, a hot dog named Choco, and a mini pinscher named Bailey that I recently got as a present :)

On what occasion do you think it’s okay to lie? I try to always tell the truth, but at times little white lies are acceptable.

What is your idea of perfect happiness? My idea of perfect happiness is good health, being 100% comfortable in your skin, financial stability, and being surrounded by family and friends who love you no matter what.

What three things would you take with you to a deserted island? Food and water (counts together as one thing lol) my phone, and a friend, I don’t want to be bored out of my mind!

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be? Honestly, I’m really happy where I’m at right now, and I wouldn’t change anything about my life.

What do find to be the sexiest thing about the opposite sex or same sex if that’s your thing? find many things attractive in the opposite sex, but the two things I like most are strong arms and a nice smile.

Do you have any upcoming projects that you would like to share? I have two calendars coming out, including one for the Latin Mixx and another calendar sponsored by ICE magazine.

What was the craziest thing that has happened to you on a shoot? I thought it would just be just me and the photographer at the location, turns out a had an audience by the time I got out of there!

Three Words... Describe yourself... Hard-working, talkative, and friendly.

What do you like and dislike about being a model? I like that I’m always meeting different people which allows me to network. The only thing I dislike is sometimes things are said about you that aren’t true, but that happens no matter what career path you choose, you just gotta cope with it and keep your head up.

What is your favorite type of food? That’s so hard, because I love food!! I’ll eat anything from pasta, to seafood, cuban food, and I have quite the sweet tooth as well (I try to watch it though lol)

How do you seduce a guy? Well, for my boyfriend I’d start off by wearing a really sexy lingerie set, followed by a massage. I’d then whisper in his hear and have him look me in the eye, and it’ll all go from there ;)

If you were an animal, what would you be? I’d probably be a bird, must be cool to take off and fly when you want to.

Some models say they feel sexy and even turned on when posing for the camera. Do you feel that way when posing? I definitely feel sexy when I’m posing for the camera. I try to stay focused and give my all in every shoot that I do so that way when I look at my images I’ll be happy with the turn out of that shoot.

What’s the worst pick-up line ever used on you? Hey baby you’re so fine you make me stutter, wha wha what’s your name? I couldn’t stop laughing....

What advice would you give to anyone trying to approach you? Be yourself. I can tell when a guy is trying too hard to impress me.

What is your biggest fear? My biggest fear is losing someone close to me and not being successful.
